An Exciting Dream

The La Yegua Loca Boutique Hotel is located in the beautiful city of Punta Arenas in Chile, in a privileged location just 5 blocks from the plaza and below the most important viewpoint “El Cerro de la Cruz”. From here we have a wonderful panoramic view of the city and the historic Strait of Magellan.

This themed hotel, the result of the work of renovating an old English-style house built in 1929, is themed around the trades and traditions of Patagonia, born from the passion and love that Paola Milosevic and Sergio Solar feel for this wonderful region.

Here at the end of the world, since the mid-1800s, Croatian, English, Chilote pioneers and many others began to arrive, who shared their traditions and efforts to forge the destiny of Magellan, bequeathing us an invaluable socio-cultural wealth, which is what is shown in each of the corners of the hotel and restaurant.

History In Every Corner

Its 15 rooms are a tribute to the ancient trades and traditions rooted in Chilean Patagonia, all of them have antiques typical of the trades and places of the rooms, displaying them in an innovative way to surprise and bring clients closer to their history.

Each room has incredible views from which to surprise with the majesty of the Strait of Magellan, Tierra del Fuego, the colorful city of Punta Arenas and the end of the American continent.

Tradition in Every Dish

The hotel and restaurant offers exquisite regional cuisine where traditional recipes prepared by the old immigrant grandmothers or grandmothers are combined, and the use of the best Magellan products in dishes created by our Chef.

The bar offers an entertaining and very good cocktail bar, where you can taste different types of pisco sour, artisanal liqueurs, macerates and all types of cocktails with or without alcohol.
