El Carpintero
3 pax
22 mtrs²
The carpenter was and is a very recognized profession in Patagonia. Using noble woods such as lenga, this character used his imagination and experience to build houses of great strength, capable of withstanding inclement weather, with winds of more than 100 km per hour and meters of snow during the cold winters.
There was an interesting mix between European architectural styles and the skill of the carpenters who arrived from Chiloé, giving a marked identity to the architecture of the city and Magellan’s rooms.
The room has very characteristic elements of the area, such as gables and bishops on the ceilings, tongue-and-groove floors, beech doors and European-style furniture, all of which are present in La Yegua Loca.
