It is a small cabin-type construction, located in the farthest fields from the ranches and it is very simple; It has a wood stove, a bed and a charming little table. Here the sheepdog lives for a few months to take care of the flock in winter or summer.
The stall is always located next to a watercourse or well, it has a small corral and sometimes a stall to protect the horse, which along with the sheepdogs are the stallholder’s only companions. It was also a temporary place for hunters and a light of hope for more than one passenger or tumbero who wandered through the immensity of Patagonia, finding shelter here from the inclement weather.
